Mike Sanchez w/ Knock Out Greg & Blue Weather - Women & Cadillacs'
Doopin Music This is a fabulous album! It is Hot Swingin Rhythm & Blues! Makes you get up and dance! The brand new album has 16 new recordings with a lot of classic tracks you're gonna love plus 20 minutes of hidden bonus tracks: Cadillac Baby/ All She Wants To Do Is Rock/ The Voice Within/ Hot Dog/ You Gonna Win/ Strollin' With Bones/ Let This Lovin' Begin/ Women and Cadillacs/ You Got Money/ If Lovin' Is Believing/ Gambling Woman Blues/ Poor Boy/ Easy Boogie/ Drunk/ King Kong/ I Need A Woman. Mike Sanchez, British singer, pianist and guitarist teams up for the first time with Scandinavia's top rockin blues outfit Knock Out Greg & Blue Weather from Stockholm, to deliver a cocktail of vintage styles, West Coast rhythm & blues, New Orleans rocknroll, Texas blues and Mike Sanchez boogie woogie. Together they do a remarkable job and make this album sound very authentic. Knock Out Greg & Blue Weather are: Anders Lewen (guitar), Marcus Andersson (drums), Urban Hed (Upright Bass), Greger Knock-Out Greg Andersson (harmonica), Tore Berglund (Baritone Sax), Tobbe Eliasson (Tenor Sax), Karl Olandersson (Trumpet), Jonas Goransson (guitar). When I heard Women & Cadillacs for the first time, I thought; this is definitely the best album he has recorded so far. I already new the lyrics on some of the songs, some good classic tunes by Mike Sanchez, such as You Gonna Win is from the album 6 pack with the Big Town Playboys. Poor Boy is from the album Off The Clock Live also with the BTPs. Let This Lovin' Begin and I Need A Woman is both from Mike Sanchez first solo album Just A Game. I have lived in Chicago, US for a year now and been to many, r&b, swing and rockabilly gigs with known American bands, but neither of them have come close to Mike Sanchez music and his energetic performance. At his live performances he is more energetic on the piano than Jerry Lee Lewis was in the 1950s. This is a must have for your music collection! - The albums UK release features a quality six-page digi-pack format, lavishly designed by the reputable Chris Wroe at Wacksworks, while also being available in a regular plastic packaging from the Swedish label Last Buzz Records.
